Third-class republican road III-103 passes through the village of Kalen, leading to the southwest through the villages of Gorna Kremena and Dolna Kremena to Mezdra, and to the east through the villages of Gorna Be?ovica and Dolna Be?ovica - to the town of Roman. In the center of the village, a municipal road diverges from it to the northeast to the village of Tsakonitsa.
