Sokolovo is situated in North-East of Bulgaria, it is part of the municipality of Balchik, the district of Dobrich. It lies just 6 km from the sea resort town of Balchik, 50 km from the city of Varna(55 km from its international airport), 19 km from the town of Kavarna, 10 km from the world famous beach resort of Albena and 5 km from the golf courses. The village is the oldest, but also the most developed one in he district of Dobrich.
