At the end of the second quarter of this year, costs of homes in the Capital passed over the limit of 500 Ђ per metre square. Afterwards the rise of costs slowed down. During the summer, agencies traditionally report about lower amount of deals made, which leads to lower cost dynamics. The interest in new buildings jumped sharply at the beginning of this autumn.
Good offers are already running out and this result in rise of the costs by 10% only in September. Alarmed by this, people started buying flats as soon as they were projected. NCI reported rise of costs by 12% in the country, our database showed rise of no more than 10% for July, August and September. Just in the first month of this autumn the raising in Sofia is about 3%. It is expected that prices of old buildings will continue to increase slowly and the prices of new buildings in the most sought after areas will rise by 10%. Until December the demand will keep its high level, fortunately the market has a large number of new building projects, enough to meet adequately the increasing demands.
